Welcome to the African Advocates Against AIDS Website
To stay healthy and get needed services, people must be knowledgeable about AIDS. The rate of HIV infection is increasing among heterosexuals, females and adolescents. The female rate of infection is 6 times that of males.
Our goal is to create awareness and educate the African community about HIV/AIDS as well as help people access prevention and treatment services.
- We provide prevention education through community workshops, presentations, and one-on-one outreach.
- We link people to testing as well as HIV/AIDS and related services.
- We support people who want to know their HIV status and people who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
African Advocates Against Aids will extend its service statewide and will assist other African countries with providing education and training for volunteers against AIDS in their communities.

We will also provide abstinence presentations for youth as well as training for parents. We believe education starts in the home and that education is always more effective than the incorrect information that youth may get on the streets. We want to make sure children are receiving the facts about AIDS so they can more effectively protect themselves.
If your organization would like to have their members receive training with us on HIV prevention, please email us at africanadvocates@hotmail.com.
