Our Clinic
We at Spivey Orthopaedic Clinic perform a wide range of procedures, based on thorough diagnostic examinations. We are highly experienced in the areas of orthopaedic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, total joint replacements, foot and ankle surgery, and arthritis impairments. Our physician is trained and experienced in surgery, but will often employ or recommend non-surgical measures, such as medication, physical therapy, weight control, and/or special exercise programs that restore mobility and promote healing.

We at Spivey Orthopaedic Clinic put emphasis on convenient, courteous, and prompt treatment for all patients. All appointments are made quickly. All emergencies are seen immediately. We are well-staffed to assist patients with insurance claims and billing.

Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Office hours are 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. Please be sure to bring any previous x-rays or studies, insurance information and any appropriate referrals. We do Independent Medical Examinations (IME).

 
Fees & Insurance
There are several options for payment of professional service. We accept check, cash, MasterCard & Visa. We participate in several PPO's, some HMO's and Medicare. For plans in which we participate, we will file your claim. You will be responsible for only the co-payment and/or deductible at your visit. Fees for services rendered are due at the time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Arthroscopy
Dr. Spivey has extensive training for the use of arthroscopy with diagnostic and surgical purposes. This procedure uses a fiber optic endoscope to see the interior of a joint. It is often completed on an outpatient basis. Arthroscopy is far less invasive than general open surgery. This enables the patients to have a faster healing time and reduces the cost. Any age of patient could benefit.
